Finally get to sit down and write about the premiere showing for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen at 12:00 this morning. I'll try hard not to spoil anything for anyone.

So yes, basically my friends and I went to the theatre around 10:20-ish, which was definitely good timing because there were already quite a few people there. Turns out, they had four screens open, and sure enough, the entire lobby was packed. We literally stood in line until ten minutes to Midnight before they finally got us in. It was like waiting in line for Expedition Everest at Disneyworld. o_o

It was fine when we finally got in. We got some good seats thanks to some of our friends behind us who actually line jumped. XDD And then the movie...

Wow.

I have to say, for a sequel, it was really, really good. The first one is better of course, but this one was still great. The details they put into the Transformers are A LOT better and you can actually see the vapor coming from their mouths when they're in cold places. And the old ones spitting...Oh gosh, amazing detail. Bumblebee's expressions were also more lifelike as well.

The special effects were done very nicely as well. The explosions were craaaaaaazy...And I was wicked excited with the fact they used some F-16s in the final battle. XDDD

And as far as the robots themselves go...They're awesome. XDD The new ones I'm already attached to. Mudflap and Skids I was a little iffy about, but after the movie they've really grown on me as a fun comic relief pair. Sideswipe = Badass. Ironide got a lot more in the movie, which makes me love him more. Optimus was definitely ten times more awesome. Oh, and Jetfire...

Though everything was great, there were two things that kinda bugged me. First thing being that the Autobots really did not get a lot of lines in the movie, say for Skids and Mudflap, and Optimus. Sideswipe said about three lines, Arcee got one, and poor Jolt didn't get anything (Jolt is understandable however, seeing as how he was a last minute audition so there wasn't much that could be done for him...). Ratchet got left out a lot (He's a med bot and not the fighting type, so again, slightly understandable). BB, though he did get a little less screentime, seriously kicked butt when he did show up. Jetfire getting a lot of action made up for a lot of the lack of lines from the others, in my case anyway.

Though the fact the new Autobots didn't get much and some of the older ones got neglected, I realized afterwards that since this is number two in the trilogy, it's going to be darker than the first one. Hence why the movie was more focused towards the Decepticons rather than the Autobots. Plus it helped make up for the lack of huge Decepticon roles in the first movie. (Oh yeah, Starscream dominated. *pumps fists*) So the third one should have more serious butt kicking action from the Autobots.

The other thing that bugged me was the fact there was A LOT of sexual/perverted humor. I don't mind it; I find it funny sometimes. But I felt it was kinda overused in the movie. I finally got to a point where I was getting sick of it and just wanted more explosions and such.

Other than those two things (And the first one isn't bugging me as much anymore the more I see the logic behind it), the movie was absolutely great. There is still lots of good humor, especially from Sam's family in general. The action is great, special effects rock, Lennox and Epps kicked butt alongside the Autobots, and there was some good character development for Sam. The score was also put together very nicely.

So overall, awesome movie and was worth the wait. A definite must see. ^_^ *gives thumbs up and hugs the Transformers* I'm so seeing it again. I can't help but love it! X3

Oh, and go buy the soundtrack; it's amaaaaaaaaazing! *o*

_{And a quick update on my dad, he's doing fine now. The doctor's took an MRI and found scarring tissue from where the tumor used to be, but they aren't sure why it would've caused a seizure. They're still debating whether or not to remove it since it's so small, so we're still kinda waiting in that department. But yes, he's doing fine. Thank you guys so much for your prayers. It really meant a lot to me.}
